巴西获批在成都设立总领事馆（中英文）

Brazil approved to establish Consulate General in Chengdu

近日，记者从外交部获悉，中国政府与巴西联邦共和国政府就巴西在成都设立总领事馆达成协议，同意巴西在成都设立总领事馆，领区范围为四川省、重庆市、贵州省、云南省和陕西省。这是巴西在中国内地设立的第三家总领事馆。

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Government of the Federal Republic of Brazil recently reached an agreement on the establishment of the Consulate General of Brazil in Chengdu. The Consular District consists of 5 provinces, including Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Yunnan and Shaanxi. This is the third Consulate General of Brazil in China’s mainland.

巴西是拉美地区最重要的大国之一，为二十国集团成员国和金砖五国之一，属新兴市场国家和发展中国家，是四川省在拉美地区最大的贸易合作伙伴。巴西在四川设立总领事馆，将积极促进四川与巴西及拉美国家在投资、贸易以及人文交流等方面合作，推动交流合作进入新阶段。

Brazil is one of the most important countries in Latin America. It is a member of G20 and one of the five BRICS countries and an emerging market and developing country. It is the largest trading partner of Sichuan Province in Latin America. The establishment of the Consulate General of Brazil in Sichuan will actively promote cooperation between Sichuan and Brazil and Latin American countries in investment, trade and people-to-people exchanges, and push the exchange and cooperation into a new stage.

巴西是第二个在四川设立总领事馆的拉美国家。截至目前，外国获批在川设立领事机构共22家，位列全国内地第三，中西部第一。

Brazil is the second Latin American country to establish a consulate general in Sichuan. Up to now, a total of 22 foreign countries have been approved to set up consular offices in Sichuan, ranking the third in the mainland and the first in the central and western regions.
